Interesting perspective, but historians need to study the forest and not just the trees. Why I started this book: I've developed an interest in the Pacific theater of World War II and this was a great audio to add to my study. Why I finished it: Long drives allow you to focus and finish an audio book. Having started my career on an Army base and now working on a Navy base, it was interesting to read about the historical beginnings of the differences I've seen in my daily life.
